3rd year - Project work

Some great stuff again today lads. Like I was saying in class today again, we need to be quicker to get started and we need to keep working till the bell goes.

Next you can do a close up painting of the horses feet.

Brilliant drawings but next we need to have drawings done from life.👍 good work, the tonal work is great, keep trying new techniques.

Very accurately drawing, well done. We have to show a variety of techniques, next time we paint a bigger gun.

Love this technique, would be great for Lino. 

This painting is great, the use of colour is fantastic. Now you just got to think about which direction the light is coming from and add a bit more tonal work to give the dragon even more volume.

Great line drawing, would like to see you become a bit looser with your technique.

If you check out some of the 4th years portraiture it is quite loose, if you could be a bit more carefree with your lines it would add more depth to your drawing.

Great work, if you learn to concentrate for longer periods of time you could get a very high score for the junior certificate in art.

Great use of paint, got good tonal values using paint. You should do more paintings with more practice you will become amazing. This would also work well as a Lino image.

Strong shading. Need to get some colour in.

Fantastic line drawing, tonal work is also good. Next you need to get some drawings of real life objects, will make your end project look much more complete.

Need to be quicker in class, I can’t help you if you work that slow, we have been painting the background for 2 classes and we are still not finished.

Brilliant composition, use of colour and tonal work in this painting👌. Next task is drawings of objects that are in front of you. Keep up the good work and keep experimenting with different techniques, the more variety and volume of work you do the better your work will become.
